Problem type

Not found

Code
not_found
HTTP status
404 Not Found
Retry
Only after a fix
typehttps://api.tobie.team/problems/not_found

What it means

The resource does not exist, or you may not see it. The API does not say which.

Common causes

  • The id is wrong, or the resource was deleted.
  • The resource belongs to an employer your credential is not scoped to.
  • The path is not part of the API. The proxy answers these with the type /problems/not-found.

What to do

Check the id and the path. Do not treat a 404 as proof that something exists or not, and do not retry unchanged.

Retry: only after a fix. The same request fails the same way until you change the request, the credential or the resource.

Over MCP, the same failure is a tool result with isError: true, the code not_found and retryable: false.

Example

A response body for this problem. The detail and instance vary with the request.
