Grant revoked

What it means

The person revoked this app’s access, or never finished granting it.

Common causes

• The person disconnected the app from their connected apps.
• The grant was revoked by an admin or by Tobie.
• The sign-in never reached the consent step.

What to do

Stop calling with this token. Ask the person to connect the app again through the OAuth flow.

Retry: only after a fix. The same request fails the same way until you change the request, the credential or the resource.

This response also carries WWW-Authenticate, which says how to authenticate and where the sign-in metadata lives.

Over MCP, the same failure is a tool result with isError: true, the code grant_revoked and retryable: false.
