What it means

Something failed on Tobie’s side. The response says nothing more, by design.

Common causes

An unexpected server error. Details go to Tobie’s server logs, never to the response.

What to do

Retry a few times with backoff. A write with the same Idempotency-Key is safe to retry. If it keeps failing, send the requestId to hello@tobie.team.

Retry: safe after a pause. Back off between attempts, and reuse the same Idempotency-Key for a write.

Over MCP, the same failure is a tool result with isError: true, the code internal_error and retryable: true.
