- Code
client_not_allowed- HTTP status
- 403 Forbidden
- Retry
- Only after a fix
type
https://api.tobie.team/problems/client_not_allowedWhat it means
This OAuth app is not allowed to connect, or may not act for this kind of user.
Common causes
- The app has not been approved to connect to Tobie.
- The app is approved only for some kinds of users, and this user is not one of them.
What to do
Do not retry. If you build the app, email hello@tobie.team to have it reviewed. If you use it, connect an app your employer allows.
Retry: only after a fix. The same request fails the same way until you change the request, the credential or the resource.
Over MCP, the same failure is a tool result with isError: true, the code client_not_allowed and retryable: false.
